Book Description
Rural Architecture, or a series of designs for Ornamental Cottages by P F Robinson, published by Rodwell and Martin, London 1823. In original boards, with marbled endpapers and half-leather binding, raised bands etc., with most of the original spine relaid and corners cleaned. Size 28 by 22 cm. Approximately 200 pages, with 96 full-page plates of engravings which include plans and drawings of twenty buildings, including cottages in the style of Nash's Blaise Hamlet, a parsonage, a bailiff's house, gate lodges etc. Some foxing mainly to reverse of plates. Good to VG condition.
