HBM’s (His Britannic Majesty’s) Renown and Durban Visit to Japan 1922. A small paper wallet containing a special ticket and a rail pass issued to the the crew of HBM’s Cruisers Renown and Durban during their visit. The card ticket opens to 14 by 9 cm. and combines a colourful card cover with details of the visit that opens to show a stylised Japanese scene with the words “Welcome HRH Prince of Wales” inside and a combination of the flags of the two nations to the reverse. The card ticket holds a small rail pass and a folding map of Yokohama dated 1922. A charming souvenir in VG condition.
