A rare survivor. When we acquired this poster it was dirty, torn and crumpled, having been used, apparently, to block a chimney flue in an attempt at draught exclusion. It has undergone a long and painstaking restoration, by the noted Bristol specialist Andrew Wheeler, and now looks as good as new. The poster has been carefully reassembled, cleaned, retouched a little and laid onto thin card. Conservation grade materials used throughout. The text gives the usual details of the event and travel facilities but the date is noteworthy. Due to WW1 and its after effects this would be the last Great Yorkshire Show until 1920.
