Book Description
A Map of Bath by J P Sayer “Containing many references to the Notable Buildings of the City and to the Famous Men and Women who resided there.” Devised and illustrated by Sayer, London 1947. Size 28 by 20 cm. The reverse has the title and an image of Beau Nash along with some notes on some of the features of the city and the personalities who lived there. The main map has two inset columns of text on the famous residents and worthies of Bath and beneath it Sayer has drawn a procession of over 30 of these visitors and residents. Some creasing outside two of the borders and one central fold. Good condition
