Six folding anatomical plates; fore edge of plate 5 browned and sl. chipped (no loss) from previous mis-folding. Pencilled number on rfep. Contents a trifle age-toned, otherwise clean and tight.

                            An important early work on physiology and anatomy in athletes' training, bridging the era of experienced-based coaching and  that of technology and scientific knowledge. The authors, brothers, were anatomists and athletes.
