                        Cover title “The Cruise of the Neptune”. Original pictorial gilt (the Neptune) dark green cloth, profusely illustrated with full page b/w photographs. Large folding map (two tears at folds) 74 x 99  cm. in pocket at rear. Presentation inscription on front pastedown; ink number on fep. Front inner hinge split 7 cm. at top; split at rear (owing to bulky map). 2 cm chip and closed tear at fore-edge of fep; faint 4 cm ripple to lower edge of last few pages. Contents otherwise clean and tight.
