Published in 1841, this is a very scarce example in the original wrappers of the authors account of the terrible fire at his home, Providence Grove, in Shrewsbury Shropshire, the author Charles Hulbert produced a number of books of local and international interest, all published from his private press, the book is 6.5 inches tall approx., running to 12 pages with a frontispiece and one further plate, plus an 8 page catalogue of the authors works, some darkening and foxing to covers, some mild foxing within else in good general condition
