Published by Collins in 1933 this is the sixth edition of this crime novel by Strange, this example retains its colourful pictorial dustjacket, book is 7.25 inches tall, the jacket has noticeable loss and creasing wear (see pictures) now housed in a removeable protective sleeve, the books cover is faded at the base of the spine where the missing piece of the jacket is, internally old ownership stamps to front and rear endpapers (pictured) heavy foxing and browning to opening and closing pages, and to page edges throughout
