                            Dated January 1930, this is an original seemingly unpublished 310-page Typescript with numerous manuscript hand corrections of this work on the Memoirs and Letters of Louis François Armand de Vignerot du Plessis, duc de Richelieu (1696-1788), French diplomat, Soldier and Statesman, who went on to become The Marshal of France, whose military career saw him involved in The Seven Years War, The Siege of Menorca, The Invasion of Hanover. The book is seeming unpublished and has been bound in an attractive full tree calf leather binding, the introduction is signed by Jack Heming, loosely inserted at rear is a large folding typed family tree, the binding has some edge and corner rubbing wear, short split to top of rear joint, boards well attached, the folding chart has splits and tears along the fold lines else in good condition. The title page mentions five plates with a question mark, they ae not present here,
