Published in London in 1905 this is the First Edition of this Police Detective Novel set in India, featuring attractive pictorial covers, just under 8 inches tall, 280 pages, plus sixteen full page illustrations, the covers have some signs of wear with water staining to leading edges of upper and lower boards, a small nick to the cloth at top of spine (pictured) a scratch to outer page edges (pictured) internally inner joints have been professionally strengthened, half title page heavily browned, small stains to top plain corners of a few of the illustrations, some light foxing, a few page creases else in good general condition
