An unusual copy of a Dean & Son Toy Book, 'Dame Wiggins of Lee and Her Seven Wonderful Cats', published between 1871 and 1890 (the period when Dean & Son were based at St Dunstan's Buildings). Fabulous chromolithographic illustration, with four images to each page. This copy is not perfect, with significant tape residue to top of cover and to internal pages (see photos), as well as having a closed tear to base of book, which goes throughout it from front to back. Still scarce and very wonderful....
