Book Description
A 1st edition of 'The Children's Blue Bird' by Georgette Leblanc, the wife of Maeterlinck (author of the classic play). Published by Methuen in 1913, this book is fabulously illustrated by Albert Rothenstein with 13 colour plates. Lovely pictorial front board is somewhat worn (see photo) and spine is faded (although lettering still clear). Internally mild foxing to half-title but otherwise generally good.
