Jane and John (Topsy-Turvy 'Begin at both ends' book)
Book Description
A copy of a lovely and unusual book by F Hughes-Freeland, entitled 'Jane and John' (or 'John and Jane', depending on which end you start). This book is undated but appears to be from around 1950. Comes in original very good original dust wrapper (some markings and closed tears to each end), with simple colour illustrations of the two characters involved. Boards show some wear but internally the book is very good. 'Presented in a novel fashion' by publisher Herbert Jenkins, this book can be started at both ends, with the middle page directing you to turn the book around and begin again! Lovely line illustration by Louise Phillips.
