1826 COALPORT Shropshire TIMBER SALE Auction Poster
Book Description
                        an original Auction sale poster from April 1826 advertising the sale of the stock of the Late Mr James Griffiths Timber Merchant, from his Wood Yard in Coalport in the Ironbridge Gorge Shropshire, the extensive stock consists of Oak, Elm, Ash, Poplar, Timber in the Round, Timber for Wheelwright Purposes, The Timber yard adjoins the River Severn and the Shropshire Canal,  and is in the centre of Goods markets, for further particulars contact Mr Lumley and Mr John Griffiths of Coalport, or Mr Samuel Smith Builder of Madeley the poster / broadside was printed in Ironbridge by Smith measuring 15.25 inches by 13 inches approx..  
broadside is browned with some marking, old fold lines, old Sellotape repair to top reverse to a short tear else in good general condition,  will be posted folded along the original fold lines
