Marbled endpapers. All edges marbled.  Some rubbing to extremities. Sunned to cloth. Cracked at title, but firm.  Tauchnitz Edition. No. 2210.
Armorial Bookplate of Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Myles Fenton, (1830-1918), Engineer and railway magnate of Redstone Hall, Redhill, Surrey.  Virtute et Fide Vinco.  Sir Myles was the Spy Vanity Fair 'Men of the Day' No 455, 4 January 1890.  His signature is inscribed to the upper margin of the title page.
