Book Description

Through The Kitchen Window, Susan Hill, Hamish Hamilton, 1984, First Edition, First Impression The third of the author's books about life in the country. Illustrated throughout by Angela Barrett, the pictures enhance the main themes of the book - home, family, living in a community and cooking things that you have grown yourself. Arranged seasonally and with recipes that reflect this, this book provides a wealth of practical tips and imaginative and useful ideas. There is a small owners sticker to the front end paper. The book is in near fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from marks and tears. The dust jacket is in very good condition with a crease to the bottom corner of the front return, a crease to the top edge of the front cover, slight nibbling to both edges of the spine and crease marks to the top edge of the back cover. A rare book. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
