A lovely early children's book, published in around 1910, by an unknown publisher (publisher of 'The Wimple Children' - also listed on this site). 'The Toy Shop' contains a collection of stories and verse, with numerous line drawings within text, as well as four colour plates. Central two leaves loose from staples, gift inscription to inner front cover and some marks and spotting, as expected for this age and manufacture of book. Very charming indeed...
