The Man From The Moon
Book Description
Ist Edition, 1st Impression. Ornate blue, sliver and gold embossed pictorial front with title to front and spine. All edges tinted yellow. Blue pictorial endpapers, 8 colour plates, including tissue frontispiece, and 30 black & white illustrations within the text, 296pp.
There is some very light rubbing down the right edge of the front board, a tiny dent in the fore edge of both boards and one to the lower joint. All corners have very light surface shelf wear and the the top right corner of the front board has a tiny bruise. The binding is tight and square. Internally, there is a neat name dated October 1909 on the half title page. The pages are very clean with only sporadic small spots and marks. In all, an excellent copy of this scarce children’s fantasy science fiction novel, beautifully illustrated by Frank Watkins.
