A good copy of a delightful 1940s children's picture book from Australia. 'The Forgetful Elephant', written and illustrated by Elisabeth Macintyre is a charming story of an elephant who forgets (instead of remembering, like the rest of his family) and gets himself in a pickle! Very lovely illustrations by Macintyre. Some minor blemishes to covers (see photos); internally very good, with just small closed tear to bottom of one page (see photo). Just lovely!
