Book Description

Undated, the British library date this rare Victorian Children’s book to 1858, running to 14 pages including seven hand coloured illustrations by Calvert. Features a pictorial front cover, 10 inches tall approx., a story of a London fireman called Samuel Wood, and his Fire Escape Dog, Bill.
Dealer Notes
The covers are darkened and creased with some edge and corner loss, the spine has been strengthened with old stitching, internally some light browning and light marking, with some page corner creasing, back cover more noticeably creased, else all contents are pictured so condition can be seen.
