Beggars Bridge Fine Press Book
Book Description
                        Published by Michael Atkin at the Bracken Press, Scarborough, North Yorkshire,  in 1977, this is copy number 24 of an edition of 75 of this beautifully produced fine press book, a large folio format bound in wooden boards covered with marbled handmade paper, made at the Bracken Press, with leather spine, and four leather closure ties, internally illustrated with 18 plates etched on copper using hard ground and aquatint methods, the eighteen etchings are printed on 10 loose leaves in portfolio, each of the leaves is initialed and numbered by the artist, with the title page being fully signed,  with a loosely inserted broadsheet containing full details of the publication which has some creasing, some browning to the points where the leather ties are fitted into the boards, light rubbing to spine ends, internally opening leaf has some foxing and browning (pictured) else contents in nice condition, a good example of this beautifully produced limited edition fine press book, with fine etchings
