Small stain to prelims of one volume. Vg set. Prize inscription dated 1909 to Harold Munro Fuchs [Fox] to verso of front free endpapers. (An attempt has been made to erase the name Fuchs, which has caused a light stain to the preliminaries). Harold Munro Fox FRS (1889-1967) was a British zoologist. His main area of research was on marine invertebrates such as ostracod Crustacea. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1937 and won the society's Darwin Medal in 1966.
