Green cloth boards with gilt text to spine. Rubbed to boards and edges with some minor marks. Top edge gilt. Spine slightly loosened but all pages completely intact. Rough cut. Previous owner inscription inside front cover, dated 1926. 19 coloured plates by W H Riddell, 170 sketches, plus 2 folding maps. Pagination: pp xxii, 489, (iii) adverts.
