Inscription is to Kay and Fred Pawle presumed to be Frederick Strachan Pawle (1899–1996); married (1918) Dorothy Kathleen May (1896–1992). Gollancz Detection series. Red boards with black title to spine are a little dusty to lower edge and slightly soften to spine ends else very clean and neat. Dust jacket is lightly rubbed with hint of dustiness to the very edges.
