There are also scales in French kilometres and Russian versts. A very detailed map. Includes a colour coded key to the railways. There are small pinholes in each of the corners of the map. Folds into marbled paper covers. The reverse has the signature of the writer Alan Sillitoe in ink. Sillitoe was highly regarded in Russia during the Soviet period and visited Russia several times, though the map is most likely to have been bought in Britain. VG condition.
