Book Description
A set of 6 original posters printed by Draeger in France for and by the French National Railways (SNCF) in 1969.
This set of posters is known as the Papillon or Butterfly Suite as a butterfly is a dominant motif. The posters show various regions of France:- Auvergne, Normandie, Paris, Alpes, Roussillon, Alsace.
Overall size - 39" x 24", image size 30.5" x 22"
Dealer Notes
Condition is very good. There is some light age toning to the margins of 'Alsace', mainly the left margin.
The 'Paris' poster is particularly scarce and desirable.
