First edition. Two volumes. Oblong folio with 67 full page images and oblong octavo with detailed captions in English and Japanese. Both with silk covered hard boards and purple silk ties. Ex-libris University Club of Seattle library with bookplates to front paste-downs. Near Fine condition, a little rubbing to the silk at corners of the boards. Rare, OCLC lists four holdings only (U. Wash, V&A London, BL & Waseda U.). There was another edition printed in November 1909 which had 73 images but seemingly was issued without the text volume.
