                        ‘Illustration of Thomson’s Castle of Indolence’  by William Rimer; pub by Art-Union of London 1845; 12 engravings by F. Joubert, E.Webb, R Whitfield & H.R. Collard. Book also includes ‘Illustrations Of The Pilgrim’s Progress’ 22 engravings found to be by Mr H.C.Selous. Book is landscape - 17” x 11”, 76pps; bound in ¾ dark red Morocco with gilt decorations on spine, and with marbled front and rear boards, also with marbled front & back inside pages. Front & back covers & spine are scuffed and 4 corners of covers bumped; there is some foxing of pps through the book, contents are basically clean and tight.
