Book Description
                        In Latin. 132pp. Calf boards with later rebound spine. Spine with raised bands and title in gilt. The corners of the boards are bumped and worn. Previous owners name and notes to front flyleaf. The title pages are slightly smaller than the rest of the pages, with possibly around 1cm of the margins removed. The pages are remarkably well preserved, other than the last page which has a small tear which has been repaired with tape. Note: The pages are browner than they appear in the photos. A book about the life of William of Wykeham, 14th-century Bishop of Winchester, who was an important figure in the history of education in England.
