Book Description

This copy of the Free Fall is the fourth novel of English novelist, Golding. The novel depicts the self-examination by an English painter, Samuel Mountjoy, who was held in a German POW camp during World War Two. This copy is in very good/near fine condition with an unclipped dust jacket. Original red cloth boards with bright gilt lettering on the spine. Previous owner's signature dated 1959 on the front free end page. The contents are very clean and bright. Includes an intact dust jacket with price marked 15/-. Minimal sign of wear. 8vo 19.5 x 12.5 cm 253pp.
