Book Description

Flush: A Biography, Virginia Woolf, The Hogarth Press, October 1933, First Edition, First Impression Written after "The Waves", this is an imaginative biography of Elizabeth Barrett Browning's cocker spaniel. The book is a cross-genre blend of fiction and non-fiction. There is a near personal dedication and date to the front end paper. In very good condition, the binding is straight and tight and the gold lettering on the spine bright. There is darkening to both boards, a small tear to the top edge of the front board, two small nicks to the corners of the top edge of the spine and a small tear and shelf wear to the bottom edge of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from tears and marks. The top edge retains its original brown tint. There is toning and an imprint of the personal dedication to the first free paper. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
