CITY OF LINCOLN 1840s - 1880
A collection of rare and unusual ephemera all relating to the city of Lincoln and mostly published within that city.
The vast amajority of the items are political/electoral in nature and consist of:
92 posters and handbills, mostly political
2 front pages from early newspapers
12 other items including two manuscript accounts for electoral expenses from the 1840s.
Reasonable condition but inevitable some are a little creased worn and chipped.
Only a few images can be shown here but I can supply copies of the whole collection on request.
