Book Description
                        Published by John Murray, London, 1973-1982, 1st editions. Twelve volume set. Red cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine and front board, Gilt letter B beneath a crown within an oval to front board. All under illustrated dustwrappers with white lettering to spine, except volume 12 which has yellow lettering. Each volume 8.75ins x 5.75ins with a frontis (except volume 12). "The complete and unexpurgated texts of all the letters available in manuscript and the full printed version of all others". The letters cover the period 1798 to 1824. Volume 12 contains an anthology of memorable passages and general and subject indices to the eleven volumes. A VG  set. Nb combined weight nearly 6kg - expensive to post overseas.
