Book Description

Published in Ayr in November 1901, printed in Ayr by Alex Fergusson, this is a large original poster showing the rules and regulations of the Ayr Corporation Tramways which opened for public service in September 1901, the poster measures 29 inches by 20 inches approx. and makes for fascinating reading. The electric Tramway line ran from Alloway to Prestwick, and closed in 1931.
Dealer Notes
The poster has some fold lines, a short split along the top centre fold line, a few pencilled crosses which could be easily erased if desired, else in good general condition.
The poster will be posted folded along existing fold lines
