A New Edition. An unusual light brown calf binding with light grey spray designs and gilt lettering to upper board. Five raised bands and gilt lettering to the spine. Marbled boards, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, silk head and tail bands and Mudie gilt stamp to bottom of endboard. In very good condition with light rubbing to corners and edges but in no way detracting from the beauty of the binding. Internally with clean and fresh pages, all bar some light spotting to first & last pages and offsetting to free endpapers. Upper board not sitting tight however not showing any signs of bowing.
