Book Description
                        The account of James Cook's Third, and fatal, voyage, during which he discoved Hawaii, then sailed north to pass through the Bering Straits looking for a North West Passage. Blocked by the Arctic ice wall, he returned to Hawaii where he was killed.
Although this set lacks the plate volume it does contain Cook's important map of Hawaii, at the beginning of Vol 3.
