The Roman Spring of Mrs Stone BRITISH FIRST EDITION with the ORIGINAL BRASS PRINTING PLATE for the Books Spine Title by Tennessee Williams 1950 Published in London in 1950, this is the attractive British First Edition of this well-known Tennessee Williams Novel with its striking Cecil Beaton designed dustjacket, the book was filmed in 1962 starring Vivien Leigh and Warren Beatty, and more recently in 2003 starring Helen Mirren in the title role. This example includes the original Brass Printing Plate that was used for the books cover spine titling, making this a very collectable and unique copy of this work, the jacket has a little edge wear and is price clipped on the inner front flap else a very nice example of the British First Edition with the original printing plate for the books spine titling
