Book Description

Published in 1931, this is the official Government report of the inquiry into the R. 101 Airship disaster. On the maiden voyage of the British-built airship R101 in October of 1930, It ended in a fiery crash that killed 48 people when bad weather forced the massive airship down over Beauvais, France. A 129-page paperback with illustrations and two folding meteorological maps, 25cm tall approx.

A small tear with no loss to lower edge of front cover, some light browning to covers, internally old ownership name to top of front endpaper, light creases, and light marks else in nice general condition.
