Book Description

Published in 1957, this is a very interesting well illustrated book produced by the North Thames Gas Board illustrating all aspects of their business producing and selling gas, illustrated with thirty three full page illustrations with accompanying text, plus rear appendix, bound in card covers measuring 9.75 inches by 7.5 inches approx. Some noticeable creasing and marking to the covers, a few minor marks within else contents in good condition.

The North Thames Gas Board was an autonomous state-owned utility area gas board providing gas for light and heat to industries, commercial premises and homes in south-east England. The board's area of supply, encompassing 1,059 square miles (2,740 km2), included parts of the County of London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex and Surrey.
