Book Description

A first edition, first impression in the original unclipped dust wrapper designed by Richard Chopping. The wrapper is worn with loss to the tail of the spine and rear panel, as well as to the head of the spine, and to the extremities. The panels are rubbed and worn towards the edges; the spine is age-toned. The flaps are intact. The book itself is a little bumped and tired to the spine ends and the extremities; it is a little cocked. There is evidence of previously erased prices or inscriptions to the front endpaper. The front hinge is a little strained after the endpaper; the binding is otherwise firm. Page 18 is dog-eared at the top corner. The leaves have occasional minor spots, but are generally clean. A first edition, first impression, presented in an unclipped wrapper.
