The book has been illustrated throughout by Pauline Baynes. The book is in near fine condition. The binding is straight and tight and the lettering on the spine bright. There are two faint marks to the front board and a slightly sunned spine. The end papers and pages are free from marks and tears. There is a neat personal dedication to the reverse of the front board and a small stamp to the front end paper. There is no dust jacket with this book. It is rare to find this book in such fine condition. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
