Illustrated throughout with inhabited headpeices and inhabited initials at starts of chapters. Bright blue cloth cover with gilt Kaa the Cobra and ornamentation on top and bottom; title on spine. Small bookplate on top left of front paste down: “ J. & H. Platt 36 Fishergate, Preston” One lifting of the pigment on the front fly leaf, minor bumping to extremities, but overall NEAR FINE condition.
