                        xxxvi, 238 pp folio 19'' hardback, bound with black leather spine gilt over blue cloth-covered boards, leather rubbed and chipped,   finely printed on thick paper, decorated border to title page, kalendar printed in four colours, well illustrated incl. engraved plates with tissue-guarded frontispiece, plan, facsimiles &c, untrimmed edges, internally very clean, title continues:  ''... edited, from MSS. in the possession of the Most Honourable the Third Marquess of Bute'' with good colour heraldic bookplate of R. G. Cave Esq. Ludlow full title reads ''The Register of the Fraternity or Guild of the Holy and Undivided Trinity and Blessed Virgin Mary in the Parish Church of Luton in the County of Bedford from A.D.MCCCCLXXV to MDCXLVI.
