Some light tape residue to the outer corners of the half title and last, colophon page, otherwise a very good bright example. Finely bound in recent full red morocco leather, the spine with raised bands and the compartments ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt. Single gilt floral decorative border on boards. Top edge gilt. Originally published as a paperback book, this one has been rebound as a hardback in attractive red leather and the original colour illustrated front and rear covers, designed by Pauline Baynes, and with some creasing, have been bound in. Overall a lovely copy.
