Bound in contemporary half morocco, decorated bands, bands, contrasting labels, marbled boards, marbled edges, pale grey endpapers, later book label of David Graham. Slightly rubbed to binding and boards, some foxing as usual and not nearly as severe as often in Chuzzlewit. Overall an unusually attractive and original example in its contemporary state.
