Brown half leather and marbled paper boards with gilt lettering to spine. Page tops have been coloured to complement the boards. Boards are rather worn but still serviceable. Corners are bumped. Leather backstrip has been replaced but not recently. Inner hinges strengthened, presumably at the same time. Foxing to the textblock mainly affecting the early/late pages. 504 pp. Previous owner's bookplate. Additional photos are available upon request.
