Undated, c1870. Brown half leather and green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby, rubbed. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is worn but still attractive. Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding. Previous owner's mark to fep. Pencil doodle to ffep. 774 pp. 12 colour plates as called for.
