Book Description
This compilation consisted of numbers of a paper entitled 'The Cossack Post' which aspired to be the 'Journal of 'B' Squadron, Paget's Horse, written chiefly during a siege of some 5 months at De La Rey's Farm, Lichtenberg in Western Transvaal.
During this time the company & civilians involved were cut off from all communication with the outside world except for native 'runners' from Mafeking. It was not written with any thought of future publication intended.
