Index plus ad leaves to rear), four plates in text, recently rebacked, spine with five raised bands, contrasting label and gilt title over original boards, title page in red and black, decorative vignettes on first and last pages. Monasterial, stamp to fly-leaf, text free of stamps, slightly foxed, edges a little speckled and endpapers stained. An important chronology, covering the history of England, including the Civil War and Restoration, ending in 1722. Nice copy. ESTC T75748.
