Title pages printed in red and black. A little light spotting to the closed fore edges otherwise a fine, clean and bright set, bound in early half red morroco leather by Maclehose of Glasgow. Spines with raised bands. Compartments ruled in blind and lettered in gilt. Marbled paper on boards. Top edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. A scarce and attractive set. ---- A search of Worldcat shows only two complete sets listed, one at the British Library and the other at Brigham Young University in Utah, U S A.
